The founder
Dr. Sesha Kisan — “nothing to everything”
Despite an orphaned, despondent, and starving life, Dr. Sesha Kisan rose from “nothing to everything.” The first generation and only family member to enrol in school — his sole motivation being midday meals — he could have quit at any time after losing his family members one after another and facing relentless financial hardship. He did labour work to survive but never quit.
After being awarded the gold medal in Organic Chemistry from the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, he joined Georg-August University Göttingen, Germany as a research associate, earned his Ph.D., and worked with prestigious pharmaceutical companies.
With more than 10 years of experience, he founded Dr Sesha Kisan Pharma in Odisha. Having lost his own family for lack of financial support and proper healthcare, he is driven to provide high-quality medicines to the people of Odisha and across India at minimal cost — and to support poor students, orphans and the elderly through charitable initiatives.
